OUR STORY

OUR ROOTS ARE PLANTED IN SOME OF THE RICHEST SOIL ON EARTH.

Our story begins in Rwanda, where our Director has been helping establish Rwandan-run businesses since 2009 to help solve local problems through social enterprise.

He and his team learned that farmers had been growing Moringa at the suggestion of well-meaning aid organizations, but were struggling to find a market for their products. After a few conversations and some research, we became incredibly excited by Moringa oil's amazing skincare properties, and The Isandi Oils Project was born. 

We teamed up with the farmers to enhance their land access, provide processing facilities, establish fair-wage contracts, and invest in the technology and research to ensure we were bringing the best possible products to market. Fast forward three years, and we are thrilled to include a line of three amazing oils, in what continues to be a great international collaboration.
